While these are technically a laminate finish, they look and feel really high quality, especially for the price. I liked being able to mix and match two different style cabinets to create a more interesting design while still maintaining a cohesive look. The only remotely negative thing I can say is that I wish the backing on the bookcases was one solid panel instead of two separate panels taped together. The tape is a heavy duty wood tape that goes on the backside so you can’t see it, but it does mean there is a slight seam that goes down the middle of that back piece. It’s not really that noticeable, though. Overall, these were not too difficult to put together and I’m very happy with my purchase. They add a lot of visual interest to what was previously an empty wall and I’m looking forward to finding fun things to display on the bookcases, and having plenty of storage for things I’d rather keep out of sight in the cabinets underneath.

Easy to build and seems like great quality. Doors were easy to adjust. There was a tiny spot on the front where the stain was slightly chipped but you can barely tell. Overall looks great and am very happy.

I truly love the way they look on the inside and outside and they're really sturdy. I bought 3 and after putting the first one together, I was able to put the other 2 together pretty fast. I took one star off b/c I had a small part that wasn't stained and there was a good enough amount of scratches and glue showing to be somewhat annoying!
